Practice notes
Longer guidance on applying the standards to one specific piece of work, step by step, with the common pitfalls and a checklist. Each is written alongside a working template from the practitioner toolkits.
Finance
Building a driver-based rolling forecast
How to design, build and run a rolling forecast that is driven by the operational quantities behind the numbers, kept separate from the budget, and measured for accuracy.
Accounting
Designing a faster month-end close
A method for shortening the month-end close by redesigning it rather than rushing it: mapping the work, moving it before period-end, setting materiality in advance and protecting the review.
Management
Evaluating supplier bids
A method for evaluating competitive bids that is fair, defensible and focused on value: criteria and weightings set in advance, total cost of ownership, independent scoring and a recorded rationale.
Technology
Establishing an AI system inventory
How to find, record and classify the AI systems an organisation uses, assign owners and proportionate controls, and keep the inventory current as the foundation of AI governance.
Practitioner toolkits
Working templates for the tasks the standards describe, with live formulas and a guide to each.
Glossary
The terms used across the four fields, defined as CBA uses them and cross-referenced.
Self-assessment
Rate yourself against every learning objective in a standard and see where the gaps are.
